Entry Term
Fall
Application Deadline
Priority deadline: February 1; rolling admission thereafter as space permits.
- Single Deadline Programs: All Ph.D. and Ed.D. programs and some master's programs have a single application deadline. Only complete applications with all required materials received by the deadline posted are guaranteed to be reviewed for admission and scholarship consideration. Master’s programs with a single application deadline will release their decisions 4-6 weeks after the posted deadline. For Ph.D. and Ed.D. programs with a December 1 deadline, decisions are typically released in early March.
- Priority Deadline Programs: Many master's programs have a priority application deadline. Applications that are complete by this priority deadline will be given the strongest consideration for admission and scholarship opportunities. Decisions will be released 4-6 weeks after the priority deadlines. Students are highly encouraged to submit their application and all required materials before the priority application date.
- Rolling admission programs: These programs review complete applications on an ongoing basis, either until a specified date or as space permits. When a program reaches its capacity, a final deadline will be posted. A rolling admission policy encourages the early submission of applications. In general, programs on rolling admission will provide decisions approximately 4-6 weeks after a student's application is complete.

Our Application Review Process
We take a thorough, holistic approach to reviewing applications. Each application is considered in its entirety. In selecting an incoming class of scholars and practitioners, we seek individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to education and the capacity to thrive both academically and personally.
Admissions Policy for Former Students
Former students who wish to resume their studies should contact the Director of Academic Affairs to discuss their particular circumstances. The Director of Academic Affairs will then advise students on the appropriate next steps for reapplication. If the former student desires to have previous coursework count toward the desired degree program, the student needs to state those wishes in their application and the program will make a recommendation upon admission decision. If the program recommends that the student should be able to count previous coursework, a petition needs to be submitted to the Committee on Degrees.
