New rates usually go into effect every summer. Students enrolled in Summer 2026 can estimate their rates based on the annual tuition increase.
All tuition and fees are subject to the approval of the Trustees and the University of Pennsylvania and are subject to change without notice.

The program fee is a bundled rate that covers hotel accommodations, meals, some academic materials, and site visits. While students may choose to arrange alternative accommodations at their own expense, Penn GSE does not prorate or separate any portion of the program fee for those opting out of the hotel arrangements provided. Please note that the tuition increases every year in the summer and subsequent semesters are subject to the annual tuition increase and may be higher than the current posted rate. Students enrolled in dissertation status beyond the 6th Block will be billed the standard Ed.D. dissertation fee and program fee each semester.
